An inch ?
Do you know how far the geometry of the suspension can move in 1 inch ?
Show proof to that please.
Even it it did the brakes have no bearing on that other an a extreme pull to one side.
Again please show proof to your statement.

Do we really need another picture of Oldblue's old bushings.

Proof enough that I was swearing that my car kept moving after the wheels had stopped turning. When the bushings wear out there is a good inch or 2 of play and a lot of lever mechanics involved.

My statement was "the car SEEMS to keep moving after a stop". I.E.: the body continues to move because of Newton's law and nothing to stop it.

Yes brake pads stop the wheels from turning but bushings stop the inertia of the body.

It’s my educated guess! Judging by the movement allowed by the pocket the LCA slides into.

There might be room for the arm to move up to an inch when you step on the brake and it rotates upward
