Unhappy Code P0013

My check engine light came on today and I got a code p0013 camshaft position- actuator circuit (bank 1). Is anyone familiar with this code? Wondering what exactly this means and if my car is safe to drive until I can get it into the dealer? so very bummed right now!

No sweat!!!! It's an easy fix that doesn't cost that much $. Jump to the How-To section, in the stickies near the top is a writeup on the parts needed, the part numbers and how you can fix it in your driveway in about 30-40 minutes if you are handy with tools.

And here is the link to it - https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-tutorial-library-21/camshaft-position-actuator-solenoid-valve-replacement-w-pics-p0010-11-p0013-14-a-28779/

(am using a tablet, so it took a few minutes to get it for you)

And here is another link for you listing various common issues that some people have encountered - you may find it handy - https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/problems-service-repairs-42/list-common-problems-questions-related-links-38985/

Thank you for all the info.....I think I will take it to the dealer. I don't have all the tools and I am hoping it will be covered on the warranty.

I read that you are taking your vehicle into the dealership to have this code diagnosed. That's a great choice and if you could please keep us updated on how the appointment went we would truly appreciate it.

Thank you,
