Question Computer Inside HHR not Working

Advanced Auto tried to read the codes but said my computer was not working and I would have to have it checked under the hood has anyone had this issue.

Welcome to the site, yes have your battery checked, a weak battery or loose wires can be the cause

Could be that under-hood fuse # 29 is blown. Really don't know what he meant about having to have it checked under the hood.

x2 - check that fuse already mentioned. The cigarette lighter uses the same fuse so you can verify as well by checking the power receptacle.

And why would you ever use your email address as a name on a forum or post it openly on the web? Do you not realize that it is an open invite to spam that would render your mailbox useless. To change your name, you will have to contact 843de, our Administrator.

Not necessarily - a lot of people depend on them. Regardless, having it openly posted is not a good thing.

if all fuses check out don't be afraid of letting a different store check codes.
Parts guys are normally not tech's and sometimes it's just user error.

What I meant is that they are easily changed and not dependent on your ISP.
