Stealership gave me a new trans, told me 2nd gear on the old one was totally gone. Hopefully they put a new throwout bearing on it too, the old one was chattering.

They are going to look at the doors, and get some authorization to have the body shop fix it.

Customer service has totally improved, from the last time that I have taken my car in... like ten-fold.

I get to pick it up tomorrow afternoon, and start the teardown for my stereo rebuild. Finally.

Good to hear that they took care of your problem, and its encouraging to hear that they have improved, maybe someone at the dealership listens to customers and gives a darn.

Good to hear you got fixed up..

Generally the clutch disc creates chatter. From heat, the tension springs in the disc shrink & chatter begins....fwiw..

Just picked the car up about an hour ago, been out driving it around, and its a world of difference. The trans didn't even shift this well when I got it off the showroom floor... They even told went as far as checking it out, and telling me I need brakes, balljoints, swaybar bushings, and stabilizer links... and didn't try and sell me anything. Everything that could be replaced under new car warranty was.

All in all I'm really impressed with this dealer. They have been the best place I've taken this car so far.

Only thing I was told was that they can't do anything about the rust problem, because it's not all the way through the door. I'll just take care of it when I lay down the new paint on this thing.

Glad you got it back.

Was good to meet you today. Small world, I can't believe I know your Dad and we worked in the same Trade for years together.
Fun guy he is, we had some real fun times at work and a few after as well.

Thanks for dropping off the 5 gallons of Weldwood contact adhesive Landau Top & Trim HHR solvent type spray grade.

Your HHR sounded real good, I liked your pillars, system sounded rally good.

After you left, I made some filler pieces for my doors. I know you said to just go over the access holes with the dynamat, but I just thought they were too big so I made these up. Double walled coragated plastic.

I think these will do the trick nicely.

I won't install them untill after we install everything. Hopefully you can stop by after work on Friday and get the wires run that will be under the carpet.

I'll get the carpet back in and we can continue on either Saturday or Sunday.
I can't wait to hear this system setup.
