CV Axle Tripot GAP?????

The CV joints would have taken the impact, the axle wouldn’t have popped out

HMMMM Then I really dont know. You all know I have had Gregg for a long time, and I have never touched the axles or the hubs in the six years ive had the car. Appearance wise the axle looks like its been out like that for a very long time. To the point where I would be a bit afraid to force it back in, as it is rusty and crusty. Time for a new axle down the road, just wish it wasn't the passenger side with that silly stub! Nothing in what little repair history I have for the car mentions anything, so who knows.

The stub shaft doesn’t always come out with the axle
