Dead battey

I went into work today and at the end of the day came out to car and it is completely dead , no light ,no click nothing. So i hooked up one of those jumper boxes under the hood because the back gate wont open , even with jumper box attached. It jumps no problem, back gate still wont open . But as soon as I detach it dies. While attached lighs on dash are kind of blinky and radio is dead ? Whats going on .

Where did you attach the negative lead? Did you follow the directions in the Owner Manual?

Yes, very important, did you connect to the positive post on the front left side of the fuse box and the negative to the strut tower stud?

Could be that your battery is damaged. If you can get it to the auto parts store, they can try to charge it enough to test it properly. But answers to the above questions first, please.

Agreed. But the Auto Parts store, besides checking the battery can check your charging system & all, & it's FREE.

And worth noting, it is best to turn off the radio & any other accessories prior to attempting getting jumped.
