TPS gone bad? The tire & pressure are fine. The readout says "-- RF"

Weird. Mine did that just last night, also the RF monitor. And didn't do it anymore this morning. If it comes back again, I'll make an appointment with the dealer and have it looked at.

Yeah, all that says is that the tire monitor needs service... which the DIC already told me. But in my case, it's fixed itself for the moment.

My LF did it once last week and 3 times this week. Took it into the dealer and now have an appointment to have the sensor in the wheel/rim replaced. If you look in the owners manual, it tells you that it will show the action needed during the ignition cycle - so when you restart your car, you reset the sensor.

Mine showed 4psi lower than the RF (31 vx. 35) at start up (all the tires were set at 35 psi cold the day before) and going down the expressway all the others went up to 37 psi and LF stayed the same. Then suddenly, it jumped to 37 and went blank showing the code.

Didn't see any message other than the ice warning. I remote started it though. Could it have appeared then?

If the service tire message or other trouble messages are on, the vehicle won't remote start. I know mine did it on our one really cold morning when i really wanted a remote start, but it wouldn't start because one tire was low (24lbs).

Hmmm... The plot thickens. It did it again just a while ago as I was coming home from work. Same message and result. I saw your reply and went out to see if any messages came up. None. Just a happy DIC working with proper pressure.

Jeff® your DIC is trying to tell you something. Always heed the DIC.
