Doesn't engage in drive. I can goose the gas a few times and it will engage. Goes from park to reverse no problem. But going from park to drive or at a stop sign. Sometimes doesn't want to go when I pull up to stops. It will just Rev up until it finally engages. Someone mentioned maybe neutral safety swith or something like that. Ring any bells for anyone?

 

Seems to me to be the fluid transfer tubes inside the pan above the filter

 

What ^ ^ ^ ^ he said. You are losing line pressure. Check the tubes.

I will definitely look into that. Thank you for giving me a direction. My local mechanic doesn't know. I have a warranty for 3 more years and the shop is jerking me around.

 

It’s an easy peasy job, and you can replace the transmission fluid filter.

Yeah right, but I actually bought it over a year ago and got the 4 year extended warranty. But definitely do not trust the auto shop. It was garage kept and taken care of. Has 128,000 miles on it.
