I did a search of threads and found one that the "Door Ajar" doesn't come on until the door is open. Mine goes of / on often (daily) if I accelerate from a stop light, Etc. Is this a "normal" problem on 2008 hhr's?

 

I have a 2008 HHR Panel, have not had that problem except when the Hatch was not latched. Check the hatch to make sure it is latched completely.

 

It could be a dirty sensor also, I have a 08. Never had a problem with it.

 

No problems here with door ajar.

 

The latches control the door ajar. One of them is bad or is being affected by water. Try pulling on the doors, while closed. Do them one at a time to see if you can get the message to occur.

 

Thanks Guys! The rear gate would say "gate ajar" not "door ajar" correct?
