Whenever I hit the inside lock feature of my 2008 HHR I have to hit it twice or else when I can’t unlock the door from the outside and I have to call someone. I’ve tested to see what’s happening and if I only hit it once, when i try to unlock the car from the inside by pulling the latch, it snaps back down, then hitting again stops that. I haven’t had this happen until recently, but it caused me to be locked out of my car multiple times with the key in my pocket. I was wondering if this was some sort of security feature that could potentially be turned off?
