No offense, but from reading your posts I get the feeling you're not the mechanical type of person.
Best to let someone else tackle the work for you.

Well this is another link, probably to be ignored. It has to do with the aforementioned Crankshaft Position Sensor. The "book" says you need to re-calibrate it when you remove the harmonic balancer. That requires a Tech2 or similar computer.

It could be what was wrong to begin with.

Don't be resetting the CEL, it does nothing to help, unless you are worried about the light burning out. Most codes will clear themselves upon proper repair.

Thanks- yeah, this is probably beyond my mechanic and I. Thanks for all the help- I'm just going to take it to the dealer.

Dealer might be a good idea - the cars aren't as simple as they used to be - sometimes it's just best to take it with someone with the appropriate diagnostic tools, and training.

If you get back to us with info on the fix that would be great - it might help someone out down the road. Hope it gets resolved quick for you.
