Driving up on ramps w/o scraping
Driving up on ramps w/o scraping
I'm looking for an easier way to drive up on ramps. Instead of using a floor jack to jack each wheel up 1 at a time. The front end is to low for regular ramps. Transmissions can be check, only from the bottom no freaking dipstick (#@$% chevy).
I believe that the trans is sealed. There should nto be a reason to check it until 100k. But I do agree the front end is too low for regular ramps. I tried the ramps and cannot get it up there with out hitting.
A short one before the ramp to support the longer one spanning from the driveway to halfway up the ramp.
Friggin nose on the SS is wayyyy out there.

There was a thread for this a while back i think. It was a homemade ramp made out of 2x8 spaced to allow for low profile vehicles and had several steps up to 9" off the floor.
