hey guys hopefully some one can help me. im having a problem with my 2010 lt 2.2l. went through some high water the other day and shorted out some parts and ending up in limp mode, so far i have replace 3 coil packs,my throttle body and accelerator pedal. but it keeps going back to limp mode anywhere between a few minutes and a few hours after clearing all codes. please help im at my wits end with this. oh and i managed to not get any water in the engine

 

Posting the code numbers would help. Those would point you to what is wet, shorted or the problem.
My guess is somethings still wet and causes issues.

P.S. It's not considered a gremlin when it's the result of driver mistake.

the code that keeps popping up is "p2135"

 

P2135 which relates to Throttle position sensor. So you replaced the throttle body but why the accelerator pedal ? I hope you didn't flood the inside of the car to where it wet the accelerator pedal. If so, then you have soaked a lot of wiring including the BCM.
My guess is you've still got moisture at the wiring for the throttle body. Just hope it hasn't shorted the new throttle body and ruined it.

 

no water got in either the engine or inside the car. and all the mechanical componants that i replaced are reading correctly it just wants to stay in limp mode for whatever reason. im going to recheck the harness and see if there are any exposed spots.

 

Check the throttle body connector also, for pins that may be bent or pushed out.

 

I would disconnect every connector under the hood and dry them out add some dielectric grease.

If no water got under the hood why change spark packs?
