Hello everyone, I just got this Chevy hhr 2010 and I’ve been having issues with it when I accelerate. Every time it feels like it’s going into the next gear it bounces and doesn’t catch the gear, I have to let go of the gas pedal and press it again as needed in order to shift on the the next gear. My thermostat gauge on my dash sometimes doesn’t work, my AC sometimes turns on, no codes are being found either, any suggestions?

You’ve got codes. Your reader just isn’t picking them up. Make sure your reader is powering up at the OBD port. If not, check fuse #29 engine compartment fuse box.

The four 7mm bolts inside the underhood fuse block, crank them down super tight.

 

Change your T-stat use a ACDelco 131-158 ONLY!

 

And change the Dexcool, it has a shelf / service life of 5 years.
