Electrical problems? Or dead battery!

I got a 2006 chevy hhr lt i am looking for info .... the computer under the dash is clicking on start up and some days the gauges and dash lights go crazy and wants to stall...just spent $ 1 ,000.00 changed the cam intake sensor , and stering rack
and ran a good ground from from both of the computers that are under the hood to the rad support..... everything worked great bringing it home from the garage fine , parked it
and started it up this morning for an appointment and right back where i started from

Why did you change the cam intake sensor, I presume you meant the intake cam solenoid. Was there a code ?
how old is your battery? Have you had it load tested lately?
Ground wires are in the wiring harness, as you see the external ground is not necessary.

Remove those stupid ground wires, especially the one on the ECM! They are dangerous!
Pretty easy to test the battery; almost every auto parts store will do it for free.
What does the steering rack have to do with the story?

I moved this from an old dead thread. I’ll edit that out.
