And once you do, we can inform you a bit better, but it sounds like it might be a lot of things...

Yup, to second the Lawdog's advice, have the codes pulled and post 'em up here.

A misfire or ropy idle can be something really simple to rectify, or it can use up some time and money to correct.

We'll await your reply.

try the oil change first, but those codes could possibly be the VVT solenoids, but you have a 2007 2.2 liter, double check, as my 2007 2.2 does not have the VVT. Hmmm.

I have a 2010 Old blue, and oil change didn't do anything but I did need to change, now back to the part store to pick up both solenoids and an air filter while at it

I'd stick with genuine GM ones rather than after market ones. They may cost a few extra $'s but that way you know they are the latest revision.

UPDATE !!!!!
okay when I got to auto zone to pick parts up, they didn't have all I needed at one time, said all parts would ready to pick-up in the morning , as luck would have it,
As I got back in my car, they light went off <engine> . I ran a few errands and the light is still off.
Maybe the oil change did do some good??!!??

It will return. I'm wondering if your traction control light and ABS light are also going on.
