Engine Mount Bracket - Removal?
I'm in the process of replacing the timing set in my engine ('06 2.2L, D) and the service manual requires the removal of the engine mount bracket (top, passenger side). This is not possible with the engine in the car. The bolts hit the fender and cannot be pulled out enough to remove the bracket. Anyone else have experience with this?
Ask HHRfreak. He recently removed his 2.4 for a complete build. Here is another thread, by him, that may help you in the mean time.
Note...I recognize these threads are for the 2.4 but should be similar to your 2.2.
