ERROR CODES. HHR Running fine.
166,000 miles on my 2009 HHR Panel.
Got a OBDII reader and got these codes.
P0010, P0013, P0014. It said 7 codes but they seem to repeat a few.
Anyone have the same problems. What did you do to fix them. The car is running fine.
Thank you all in advance.

Welcome to the site, those codes pertain to VVT solenoids and timing chain issues

The solenoids for the intake and the exhaust should be replaced and the timing chain is probably stretched enough to trigger the P0014

True. A gummed up exhaust solenoid valve can trigger P0014 tho. Replacing it might clear P0013 & P0014. Replacing the intake solenoid valve will probably clear P0010. Always prudent to check the wiring first, but with P0010 & P0013 it’s almost always the solenoid (shorted or open) in the solenoid valve assembly. Replacement worked for me on three cars.
Doing the chains at that mileage can’t be wrong if it’s never been done. On the other hand, if the car has been driving gently and the oil has been changed more frequently that OEM recommendation, they might be fine.
There are many reports of aftermarket solenoid valves failing early. ACDelco is widely recommended.
Changing solenoid valves is cheap and easy. Chains, not so much.
I will never be the one to recommend against changing chains because failure can be fatal to the motor. Always be alert for noisy rattling chains, especially on startup.
