Exhaust manifold studs for 09 2.4?
I have found with my experience with exhaust flange studs is to only heat the inside of the manifold at the base of the stud.
You are expanding the threaded hole and not the stud.
Don't heat the base of the stud that screws into it.
Many people make that mistake and get the stud soft and it twists off at the flange of the manifold when trying to remove it.
