Welcome to the site.

Just venting I guess.
But, the facts are you've got a 8-9 year old car. Things do wear out.
Glove box fix ? Sure. Do a search here. It's been discussed before.

Lift gate "went out" ? You also stated most people have liftgate issues ? Don't know where you came up with "most people". That's just not a true statement.
I'm guessing you mean the struts won't hold it up. Like stated, it's a 8-9 year old car. Parts(struts) do wear out. Get some new ones (if that's the problem) and it should be good to go for a number of years.

No owners manual ? We've got them "free" on this site for download. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/gene...s-manual-3074/

An FYI. Most of the fuses and relays are labeled as to what they go to.

Go see if you can trade the Advil for some Valium. ;}

On my '06 I discovered that when I push the button in to open the center storage compartment {extra glove box} if I pull back with my fingers on the edge of the button hole it will open right up.

My rear hatch didn't open all the time but it did easily enough most of the time. I applied a whole bunch of WD-40 and washed a ton of crap out of it and that seems to have fixed it for me.

My dash glove box had an issue opening. Turned out I was missing one 9f the rubber bumpers under the lid. After I put the new bumper in no issues. Just a suggestion.
