Ok that leaves the flexpipe, it can crack and cause issues as stated in the link I posted for you.
If yours is broken a kit is available to fix it

Flex Pipe Replacement

Or replace the complete pipe, like I did

Would this cause the surges while in park or in gear stopped?

Not doubting, just asking.

Did you look at the link in Post #2? It goes into the lower probability causes.

I'm still thinking wiring or the connector, that is all too common.

Ok, flex pipe looks good.

BTW this being an 08, I bought it with just over 8k on it. It was used as an advertising billboard. Had a body wrap on it and was just driven from supermarket parking lot to parking lot. Sat in lots week to two weeks at a time. So it's in good shape. Not saying that things don't go wrong.

So, had it up on ramps, went underneath, sprayed everywhere looking for leak. Nothing.

Temp still fluctuating, surging in park or in gear. Checked MAF sensor plug, all the pins look good.

So went for a coffee. Came out and thought, I'll unplug the MAF sensor and drive it home. Ran like a charm. Temp still fluctuated, but ran smooth. Wouldn't slow down when lifting the pedal but wasn't reving high either.

Like most if not all you guys, I don't want to go get hosed by the dealer and have nothing done. Seems like this problem started not too long after I took it in to have my FOB programmed ( which didn't work, said my remote receiver was pooched).

Friend just suggested water in tank. I just filled with premium after this started from less than 1/4 tank and added injector cleaner.

Temp still high? Surging? What is your coolant temp?

No, your not invisible, have checked everything you guys stated. Apart from pulling the exhaust and ripping my MAF connector plug apart.

The temp fluctuates between 78 and 103. It consistently ran at 80-81 no fluctuations. Not surging with MAF sensor un plugged.
