Flasher work sometimes
I just got my car back from the dealer after doing a complete analysis of its new to me condition (cost $145). More on that later. The service rep said, "You know your steering wheel wasn't centered? We fixed it at no charge." No, I didn't know, the off center was so negligible. BUT, the right hand flasher was not working consistently when I took it in and it works consistently now! The dealer said they did no work on the steering column other than to center the steering wheel. Go figure, I'm not complaining.
Hopefully they centered it the right way by adjusting the tie rods, not by removing and reseating the steering wheel.. I.E.: doing an alignment.
The cam that turns the flashers off is on the steering column, that is why it works now.
