I agree. Mine does not put out enough heat. I noticed that the upper vents work great but that the floor always feels cold. When I reach under I can barely feel the heat coming out.

mine is the same, if i have it on the split, the top is blowing like crazy and my feet are cold.

what i usually do it get the car warm, and then just turn it to feet only. it warms it up down there and keeps the cabin warm. I don't like air blowing directly on my face anyways, dries my contacts out crazy fast, so it works out well. Either that or i throw it on defrost to keep it warm but direct it away from me.

But yeah, in conclusion, if it's on the split, my feet are cold.

Your not alone on the heater issues . My 08 SS will blow barely warm air sideways at knee height and let your feet freeze .It's been this way since delivered and they don't seem to have a cure. Yet the mid vents will melt your face . Any ideas.--Bob

until today

mine has always been good. i keep it on all the time , med -high fan , but turn down the heat. i allways keep it on floor only. today is the 1st time i noticed alot of air comming out of the tiny vents that blow on the windows. is it supposed to do this while i have it set on floor only ??? it is hard for me to believe that it has always been doing this , but today is the 1st time i noticed. also , if you are not geeting enough heat , you may try blocking off the vents that are under the seats that blow into the rear floorboard. i even have them on my panel , i think it is strange. you could just lay a heavy towel or somthing over them to see if it helps, and of course remove them if you like for the rear passengers. if my heat didn't work so well , i would probably stuff something in mine.

Not had any issues with cold feet or anything else here in my SS.

If anything I have been shock how quick it warms up and starts blowing heat. I though my GMC warmed up quick and the SS has it beat by a few miles sooner for it to get to normal driving temp.

Only really noticed this when its below -20c. But you are right the lower vents barely keep my feet warm.

I usually split the vent between the defrost and the floor, I rarely use the blower for heat, gets way too hot :)
