06 with 41k miles on it. put in drive hit the gas and hear 1 click in the front end. stop put in reverse and hear the same thing. is there a solenoid on the trans doing this? doesnt sound like cv's. i think that would be more constant.

Do you here the clicking while driving over small bumps? I was getting a rattle and clicking in the front end. Turned out to be a sway bar end link.
