Yes, some Anchor mounts are found to be not so good.
if you recall RockAuto offers a discount, I replaced my 2007 and 2011 mount with AC Delco

fastsuv had an experience with a cheap mount, others reported stiff feeling perhaps the rubber compound is to hard.

 

At approx. what mileage should you expect the need to replace the motor mount ?

It would depend on how hard it was beat on. Lead foot, rough road surfaces...

 

Replacing brake hose and rebuilding caliper fixed the problem. Do brake hoses need to be replaced as a part of preventative maintenance? I started to have this problem after around 100k miles. An inexpensive fix, but sure is a difficult one to diagnose.
