front left speaker volume incredibly low
'06 HHR - everything stock - standard radio
When I leave the keys in the ignition and open the door, the chimes are incredibly faint - I can barely hear them but they are there.
Then, last week, after taking my dog for a rabies vaccine, she jumped against the door and the chimes started up loud and clear - and now it's back to the almost silence again.
It seems that a wire is loose but would that result in faint volume? Also, what would be the best guide on how to get access to the wiring to verify?
Thanks

Probably going to be a bad speaker. The dog bumping it most likely made it "fix itself" temporarily.
Either way, wire or speaker, you're gonna have to pull the door panel to check it.
A 9 year old car, your best way is to just go ahead and replace the speaker while you're in there. And replace the other side as well.
