Hello,
I had one front bearing replaced at the dealer in Halifax. Expensive. Next time I plan to tackle it myself. 96000kms and the only repair since new. It's a 2010 lt. Maybe Canadian Tire could do it at a better price. My problem began after hitting a big pothole.

Try EBay, A1Auto or Prime Choice are inexpensive then there are more expensive AC Delcos, there are several good threads for How to's if you search front hubs. It's a simple job with the correct tools and some auto repair knowledge

If you do not have the antilock brakes you can go to Auto Zone and get them for $52.99.

Here is a link to a youtube video on how easy it is to do. Its for a car with the antilock brake, the procedure is the same you just get to skip unhooking and rehooking up the ABS wire.

Not a good video. You can also borrow a slide hammer puller that bolts onto the wheel studs to get it pulled out.

Anytime I used a slide hammer on a front wheel bearing that was stuck all that happen is it pulled the hub off but left the bearing mounting still in place.

An air chisel and a hammer has worked best for me when there stuck in the spindle.

I've been lucky. A 2 lb. hammer is the most I've ever needed.

I've replaced both sides this past year. PS was 1st to go, DS about 2 months later. This is an '07 with just over 71,000 on it now.
Purchased the replacements thru Rockauto.com

Had a bit of "fun" getting the PS one out of the mount. Doing the DS was easier, as I had learned a few tricks doing the other one.
