Fuel Lines Drip... easy replacement?
Amazing the huge difference in the CA and US offering! $83 from ebay US same vendor. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Nylon-Tubin...efc23467c5b36f
This is the Line Kit that's being recommended... eBay & Store's Site,
Main Kit to purchase...
https://www.inlinetube.com/products/nfr0019
This was the 2nd kit (in addition to 1st) that I was questioning...
It states 06-11 HHR models... this is not applicable?
It looks like 1 line is a duplicate, the other one was questioned.

That was a poor Engineering decision to use steel and wrap in water retaining heat shielding and a plastic channel.
For a few pennies more... Nickel or Stainless would have prevented.
What's the consensus, should new "heat shielding" be wrapped in same exhaust muffler zone?
Equiped with my new QuickJack... I was looking forward to the Fuel Line replacement. (although, now NOT looking forward to 2 Panels if & when needed)
Technically, it's an easy task... but those chassis routing clamps are a bit fussy and getting that heat shield & insulation wrap removed in the upper corner was a bear!
The Hahn Exhaust made access to the corner & wrapped lines more challenging to remove. I tried to pull it off but had to cut the majority.
If I hadn't had the QJ height & arm access, the Fuel line connector on the fuel pump side & canister would have been a tough one.
I ended up cutting the old line in a several sections to ease removal and minimize risk of damaging or pulling on brake lines.
The new vinyl lines are great... but even they're a fuss to position up in the exhaust corner.
I will admit, they look better than the steel lines and actually follow the clamps nicely... hopefully that's a long time solution.
Quit last night at the last clamp going up to engine bay... needed to remove Air Cleaner & IC Charge lines.
The 2.0L Air cleaner box was another new ordeal for me... that's a fussy thang!
I've got 6 new Airbox Grommets on order... 3 for inventory if they're this fussy!
That's another poor design compared to other options!
Well, it has lasted at least 10 years. They only guarantee 3 years. Remember the 60's when Chrysler dared to offer a free 5 year/50,000 mile warranty?
No need to over engineer.
Definitely insulate vinyl. You might consider some type of armor from road debris.

Nice days to work on them too!
But we could remove the old, run a new line, fabricate the bends and have her out the door in 2 hours tops!
Cars rarely rust through now, just thought they could make the fuel lines similar. Better low cost material now a days.
I"ll see if my NAPA has any shielding, if not Internet. Was pondering the same, but read several forums to toss it.
This stuff , they also have a felcro sleeve for fuel and brake lines
