GM SS HHR Buy back
Has anyone ever had GM buyback there SS HHR or another car. What happens in this process? My dealer says my 2009 SS HHR has been in the shop to many times. Service manager asked if I would be willing to let GM Buy it back.

GM may want to Re-purchase this car instead of going down the Lemon road!
I bought one of the first PT Cruisers in '01 and Chrysler had to buy it back. The Dealer helped greatly. Chrysler replaced the car, but I figured it still cost me 1200 bucks! But I did get a new car with some addons!
If your dealer is willing to help that counts for alot! It's even better if you get a new car and they can make a little money!

I would hold out for a new vehicle at no cost. If you allow them to buy it back, they will be able to repair and re-sell the vehicle. If you take the lemon law route, they have to destroy the vehicle and won't find out what the problem was. If you trade it for a new vehicle you both come out ahead.
