Ground on headlight

I have a 2011 2.2 LT2 that the driver side headlight wont light
i suspect the ground connection is bad . No high or low beam .
I hardly use high beam so i wouldn't think both filaments are bad .
Does any one know where the headlight ground for the drivers side is .
I think i would check this first . This just happened today . Never had
a problem before .

They can both blow out.

The ground for the driver side is near the driver side strut mount.

Check fuses #63 & #66 under hood fuse box.

What about the DRL?

Checked ground and fuses and all were ok . I replaced bulbs in this car before but headlamp
bulbs are a bear . Couldn't get my arm up in side properly to get to the bulb so i
took it down to my favorite garage and mechanic removed the tire and whole inner fender
liner . The bulb was totally destroyed inside . Must of been a real flash when it blew .
Never seen a bulb go out like this . I took a replacement bulb with me . He didn't charge
me to do the install . I asked if he wanted to use his own stock . They didn't have H13 there .

If the bulb's gas-tight seal fails and oxygen gets inside, both filaments will burn out.

I followed the manual's instructions for replacement. It does involve partly removing the fender liner but it was accomplished on the ground without removing the wheel. It was a mild knuckle skinner but not that bad.

It is crucial to make sure the old gasket comes off, or you won't be able to figure out why the new bulb/gasket one won't go in, because you're doing this by feel.
