For the past couple of months my 08 SS has a nasty gurgle sound coming from the heater core area under the dash until it reaches full temp. Heater core issues scare me because they tend to be a real PITA. Looked through recalls and didn't notice anything. It doesn't matter what the thermostat is set to (hot or cold) and it only makes the noise until it heats up fully. Anybody had this? Haven't taken it to the dealer yet as I want to do a little research first.

 

Sounds like air in the cooling system.
