Headliner Glue? GM recommended

The dealer took down part of my headliner to fix my onstar system, and forgot to glue the front part back up, between the windshield and the sunroof.

Anybody know what the GM recommended glue is?
I want to make sure they have and use the correct glue, when I take it in Monday.

I don't think GM glues the headliner up. It wouldn't be removable then. I believe people have indicated the headliner is held to the roofing panel by a number of Velcro strips (2 piece male female kind of thing).

Could be wrong though !!

I'd like to know this as well. My headliner has a squeek and as its out of warranty its on me to deal with. If its just velcro then no big deal, time to take it off!

Velcro that has glue that fails. I had to use some hot glue to re-attach a Velcro strip by my sunroof that came off.

yes i got a closer look today, there is velcro there

however now i am pissed because they pried under the velcro strip, thats why I saw the glue there

*update*

I went to the dealer, and spoke to the service writer
The mechanic who worked on the car, tried to glue it up with a 2 part epoxy after he finished the repair. that still didnt hold.

I admit, I was a little heated, it just doesnt seem like if your careful, the velcro would seperate.

Anyway they are ordering me a new headliner
