And can i drive it I've been no noise just setting code and running funny from time to time. Really need it inspected. What timing kit should i get ? Does it come with sprockets and water pump and seals. Idk where to get it done pep boys said if I get parts they do for 746 labor. Idk gonna call around I guess

First you need to know exactly what is needed. Could be the tensioner just needs activating.

It is 5 hour flat rate, check eBay, gaskets are separate. Usually don't need sprockets, some include water pump

Well I guess when I pop the top I can try the tensioner they or if chain moves. How do I find out what's needed call and ask them what parts they need to do it

Many shops will not guarantee the repair unless you let them procure the parts.

You cannot see the tensioner by removing the valve cover, you can only check if the chain is loose.

Yes got that pep boys said if I got parts cause they didn't have them that they would do it labor was 746. I can get whatever set will fit. I know I can only see the chain but I can tap tensioner see if pops to tighten chain

Do it very soon and stop driving the car, the front guide could fail and damage the valves, is what I meant.
