My 2006 HHR was parked outside all night. It rained overnight. Found driver's side and passenger side floor mats wet. Removed fitted carpets and put hand under both carpets. . . they are soaked !! Had air-conditioner on yesterday but not that much. Have not had any leaks before going through car wash or self-washing with high pressure water. Where is the water coming from ? Any answers out there ?

2006. Do a Search on Butyl(sp?) Patch. It's a well documented issue about water leaks on the 06 models.
