Word of advice when taking a vehicle in for service. Take a digital camera and take pictures of the vehicle in their dealership when you drop it off. Also request the service manager walk around the car as you inspect it for any damage. State you expect to receive the car in the same condition it was received.
I really don't think that's necessary. The dealer knows the car should be the same shape out as it was in. I'm sure 99.2% of the people here never take a digital camera with them and document every imperfection on there cars. The difference in my car was night and day. They documented it and it's in the service managers writing. I'm going down today to see what we can work out.
I'm very anal about my vehicle's, so I always thoroughly inspect the vehicle before and after service. I perform all my own maintenance and service on my vehicle's unless it's a costly issue covered under warranty.
