HHR Power Windows No Go

Hi, i have a 2010 HHR and none of the power windows will work, fuses are all good, all relays click so 2 amp circuit has juice but nothing on the 30 amp.. is this a common problem? I cant find a wiring diagram, does anyone know where the power comes from for the 30A side of the window circuit? Thanks

Welcome to the site.

Here some reading that may help. I will also try and dig up a diagram.

I have not been able to find a diagram for your year. Sorry I'm on the road and internet is a little sketchy.

One thing I would add is to check the PDC under the hood (fuse box). They have been known to come loose and cause problems.

Power on fuses

The fuses both under the hood & in the console have power on them so I guess either the power isn't getting from there to the doors or it's a ground issue... Guess ill take the door panel off for a look

It seems that the power supply to the door relay comes from a big green and a big black wire,,,, I'm only getting 9 volts on the green wire with the engine off(and I'm presuming no amperage),,,I was assuming that this green wire went to the in car fuse box but I haven't found it yet,,,, maybe where it joins to supply all doors, they change the color?

Well. My computer illiterate self has been trying to do a "copy/paste" of a wiring diagram for you. Can't get it to work.

So. Here's what I see on an 08 wiring schematic.
Green wire that supplies power to the main window switch comes from the BCM under the center dash console.
It also shows one black ground wire that goes from the main switch to under the drivers seat.

What a mess

Thanks!,,,, I kinda thought that's where it went but I haven't seen that end of the green wire yet,,, tight spot!,,,,, ill have to pull the BCM out of there to find it I guess,,,, I have enough plastic panels hauled off the thing to make another car! Lol. The ground is good cause I jumped power to the green wire at the switch and all the windows work fine,,,,, thanks!

Missing Green Wire

Well, I have the BCM out and there doesn't seem to be any big green wire on it anywhere,,, maybe it changed color somewhere in between?

Bcm?

I'm presuming that the BCM in this thing is the "in car" fuse box?
