It appears that the key has to be on only for the 2 amp circuit,,, I still have the 9v at the door switch with the key off,,,I unplugged each of the BCM plugs and never lost the 9v at all, so that must come from elsewhere.... I was thinking earlier that the RAP relay may have something to do with it but the radio works with the key off till u open the door... Unless it has separate contacts for the windows

Well, after 2 days at it, I gave up and ran another wire.... Works ok now,,, thanks to everyone who tied to help!

OK. Gotta ask. Did you run the wire from a key switch source or the RAP ?

Do I remember something about the "master" switch controlling the ground to all of the switches?

Don't know donbrew. The schematic shows some sort of module in the master switch. It's labeled "logic" or something like that.
The schematic also shows just that one ground wire going to an under the drivers seat ground point.

But. Since the OP was able to just add a positive feed to the switch and it works, I would think the grounding circuit was working.
