Hoses are changed, ac recharged, still a darn growl, howl or whatever
Well got the ac compressor switched out(brand new) and during the switch also had a new condenser put in because the old one was bent and clogged up. So total, all in all, $1065 to have a new ac system. This wasn't done by a dealer just a good shop in use all the time.
Blows incredibly cold now and no freaking noise. This was a crazy amount but I'm done, with warranties on everything. And the noise it made wasn't faint, it would aggravate me beyond my breaking point. By the time it was changed out, the compressor wouldn't even come on anymore.
Now to deal with my ignition recall! WooHoo

Why didn't you have the A/C looked at by a pro when it first started making noise? Most places will look for free hoping to sell.
This seems to be one reason dealers won't listen to people who bring TSBs to them.
