Have not changed the switch (not in the budget, here in Canada through NAPA or GM it is about $100) but yes, the lumbar switch works fine. The main switch works fine too in all directions except when trying to move the seat backwards.

You might try inputting the part number on eBay search.

Similar problem. My wife's 2015 Trax has been experiencing issues. The power button on the driver's seat will move the seat back but rarely works moving it forward.

Until tonight, we could always move it forward after repeated tries but tonight there is zero forward motion.

Suggestions?

No offense but why are you asking here ? This is the HHR forum. A 2015 Trax is a completely different car, different wiring and most likely a different type switch. I would suggest seeking answers on another forum that knows your car.

My general rule would be to look at the rails and gears for some sort of obstruction. But since it's not an HHR any thing further would be wild guessing.

There’s a Trax forum in here

https://www.google.ca/search?q=trax+...&client=safari

while it might be routine, check the switch, track obstacles, ground wire, continuity, fuses relays.

I suggest you you get more information from a specific forum for the Trax
