Ha you sure are right, laughs are always needed and I am glad I could provide. I am not the greatest typist when I am walking around for nap time holding my son trying to type on my phone; most of the time I am lurking the forum from my office computer (SHH don't tell the boss!). Thank you for everyone input and I am glad I could offer some humor! As far as Gregg being a PITA, its more so me; you know how once you chase down one issue you find another, and another, and so on. You fix one thing and notice a "new" noise the next. That noise could have been present for years and I would never know!

For the evap purge solenoid under the hood. How the heck do you release the hard plastic line in the back? I tried looking online the only video of it being down is a man speaking Spanish lol. The cobalt is different so no help there. The noise came back about a month ago after being gone for a but and it's definitely the solenoid but I don't know if it's the line connections or not. No codes or hard starts or anything like that just an annoying sound.... For now. Which is why I want to figure this out. I think I am having a one off problem here so the internet isn't helping

Same as the front. the white tab slides out.

You might try putting some grease in the connection.

#2, I think.

So, I never did end up addressing this. After I had the the problem mentioned in my other noise thread about the spark plug, this noise is gone as well. I literally cannot fathom why the broken spark plug would cause a noise like this in the fuel system. But, I can safely confirm that this noise is gone; its been about 500 or so miles since I replaced the plugs, and the noise went from a daily occurrence to not occurring at all since the day I replaced the plugs. Can any gurus think of why the two or how the two would be related? I am baffled!

You had to have removed and replaced the airfiter and the coils or coil pack, to get to the plugs ! So something was loose!
