Idleing hard, bogging out, almost shutting off

For the longest time, the engine would only slightly lose idle rpm's enough that I would feel slight jitters/the car moving from the engine.

last night, it was pretty scary since it was almost bogging out.

all I can really describe it as, is the RPM gauge going down a lot, the car acting like its running out of gas

I did run out of gas once a month ago, and about a month before that I was going up a hill and the engine wasn't getting gas since it was kinda low.

I keep it over half at all times now...

I'm hoping that didn't damage it.

What else could it be?

There is no check engine light and the car only has 70k on it.

@hhrumadbruh, any updates about your situation with your HHR? I apologize for my time delay in getting with you about this as I was out of the office all last week since my husband had complications from surgery.

Luckily it has been just fine.

I'm guessing it was the cheap gas stations I've been going to.

@hhrrumadbruh, thank you for taking the time to get back with me. I'm glad to read everything has been fine. I know what you mean about staying away from cheap gas, as we have to use Sunoco and the premium stuff too, OUCH! LOL

After hearing all the problems you have with your car, I think you should seriously consider donating it.
