Angry Water leak

I live in southern Pennsylvania, hurricane sandy came thru, not super bad, high winds, heavy rains, no damage. My HHR leaked water, drivers side floor, front and rear had about 2 inches of water, windows were closed, seats not wet, nothing wet but floor. Anybody have any ideas or the same problem? Need to get this taken care of, real pain. Used a shop vac and towells to dry it the best i could. Never had this problem before?????

First off, do you have a sunroof?
Second. Any chance it was flood water that rose just high enough to enter the car?

" high winds, heavy rains" says it all to me, when I go to the car wash the blow dryer will blow the top of both door out so that I can feel the air coming in. It happens at most car wash with blow dryers.

Check around the door to body rubber boot connections. (where the wiring runs thru)..

This is best looked at with hood open & see if the seal is flat to the body.
I wiped clear silicone around all mine, (wasn't leaking) but cheap insurance..
