Question Ignition / Blinker. Housing is lose. After Ign. Change

I bought a 2008 HHR LT a while back and the plastic housing was lose. No screw in middle retainer. So now I took the Plastic housing off to find correct bolt. Fastened everything back up... The whole plastic housing still moves. It seems that the Ignition. or ? had been replaced before and there is a retaining bolt somewhere to make the Ign. / Blinker column fasten to the steering column? You can rock back and forth.... Where can i look for this missing retaining bolt or clamp or ?. I don't mind the Heat when I'm Fishing but the Index is 112* and sitting in the tight HHR is helping..... If I get the Whiskey out My Hammer comes with it...... NOPE I do like this HHR......... I don't want to put a screw bolt in a Hole it doesn't Belong! Not sure AIRBAGs taste good! Thanks! Tug

Welcome Tug, that is a metric screw threaded to self tap into plastic, RockAuto lists them, or your local pic a part

Sounds like someone didn't know about the recall and took a BFH to the problem. CHECK ON RECALLS
