Just some info on what happened to me. The airbag service light was going on sometimes and I thought it might be weather related. Seemed to only come on when it was hot or humid. It would sometimes go off when I ran the air conditioning a lot. Over the winter, it never went on. This summer it was almost on all the time, so I took to the dealer. They soldered in a new airbag plug under the dash, behind the glove compartment. Price..$375.00.
The next day I found a post where someone else had the same problem, loose plug behind the glove box. I wish I read that earlier.

Remember, if you fool with any airbag components to disable the system first!!!!!
