Intermittent Front End Clunking

Okay so I have seen the posts - Front End Clunking. Mine has recently started this - though only intermittently - and it seems to come from the left and the right side - though I am not sure.

My car has 6600 miles on it (everything is close here in Champaign) - and it really seems to only happen when it is cold out.

I read steering shaft, any other possibilities?

I had the same noise worse whan cold and not always there at the same miles. after 3 trips to the dealer I road tested will the tech. and showed him the noise. at that point they changed the sway bar bushing and the noise is gone.

I have the same issue. Been into the dealer 5 times already and so far they worked on the steering column, shaft, sway bar, and now when the parts come in they are going to replace the strut and mount for the right side. Hope this does the trick...
Usually on mine they work on it and it's quite for about 1000 likes and the noise comes back. I'll let you know next week if this repair helps..
Good Luck..

If it stops for about a 1000 miles then they are just loading up all the grease fittings.
