Jack points
Is there a crossmember forward of the engine that would provide a jacking point strong enough to lift both front wheels off the ground at the same time? I'm getting ready to replace front rotors and pads, and would like to have both wheels in the air at the same time, if possible.

The manual states what it does because to most people the only time you will jack a car is to change a flat and thats the only way they want you to jack it,,,a lot of folks are not mechanically inclined and probably never saw the underside of a car except for stunts in the movies....there is a cross member on the front that allows center jacking,, looks like a oval tube that connects between the frame sections..the rear has no place for one point jacking though if you happen to have a hitch installed it can be used as a center point but watch for flex..don't use the axle beam, way too much flex..would be worried about bending it( only takes a few thousanths to make strange tire wear). These points have been tried and used several times with no problems or being unstable.
