Rikki if I ever get down to Florida I need to buy you a case of beer or pop. I had all 3 of my fob not working. Did what you said. It really works.Thanks for sharing this information.

i posted this repair a while ago. only prob is the rubber eventualy starts cracking. have to go to ebay, only 5 button replacements are availible but hatch/trunk button not used anyway.

I used the foil wrapping from marlboro smooths still going strong after a year.
