Leaking transaxle seal?

While under the car trying to determine if my sway bar bushings are clunking I noticed the following on the passenger side axle:

Here is the driver side for comparison (that's the best shot I could get) but it looks nice and dry.

I'm no expert on this, but I'd say my transaxle seal is leaking.

+1 on keeping an eye on it. It looks like more of a "weep" than a full blown leak. Surrounding structures look fairly dry, so, you're probably not losing much oil. Don't worry though, it'll probably get worse eventually!

I bought the extended warranty for it, so I'd only have to pay the deductable.

Still, I'm not impressed that his happened so early in the vehicles life, and that I found it just after the factory warranty expired.

Definitely has me questioning if I want to buy the vehicle at the end of the lease now.
