Hey, hope everybody's good.
I recently (about 3-4 days ago) changed both my fog lights, and the headlights to led.
The headlight is a 4 smd type bulb. 2 smd's switch on during low, and all 4 during high. It looks something like this one below.
Two of the smd's are closer to the body of the bulb, and two of them are around the middle of the protruding base that the smd's are mounted on.
The problem is, I don't know if I've placed it in the right method, or if it's functioning the way it should be.
So my old bulb, looked something like this.
NOTICE one of the filaments is slightly protruding and higher than the other. I concluded that the higher one was for low beam, and the shorter one for high beam. I'm not sure because I didn't check during disassembly.
This is what I think : the long filament (low beam, high beam turned off) always stays lit. The shorter filament (high beam) switches on and off as you control it (flash to pass, high, etc. etc.).
Am I correct in this? and also, in what way would the halogen bulb be usually placed in the reflector? Higher filament side up, or shorter filament side up?

The installation instruction will note if the chips are to be positioned in a peticular direction.
Since the maker of the lights was not mentioned I cannot help any further.
Low beam shines up, Hi beam shines down. Some LED lights are adjustable, most are preset and install just in one position . Your photo of your led lights don’t show any screws to indicate an adjustment is possible.
Our lampbase H13
I didn't look at it closely, but logic dictates that it can only be installed in one position. Slots in the lampbase will prevent incorrect installation.
So Oldblue is right: no screws = no adjustment. Screw in and fly.
The H13 lights from Murimoto have detents instead of screws.
They were installed into the housing THEN rotated to the correct orientation.
The lights from Lasfit are the same way.
