Left lights on and battery went dead now I got it jumped no headlights??

Yes Silverfox, some folks do know how to jump start a battery AT the battery itself.
Problems occur when some of the new cars have a remote jump start location like the HHR. People think they know how to do it but in reality don't have a clue.
( not pointing any fingers at the OP....I just mean people in general)
The one's who don't read the instructions just see 2 battery "posts" under the hood and you know what happens next.

I think too many are still thinking in the 1950-1970 mode.......
Now days that mode is Proceed With Caution on anything electrical.

2008 on there are directions and illustrations in RED on the fuse box cover along with a huge GROUND label on the shock tower. It doesn't even take the effort to open a book or find out where the battery is.

2006-2007 have an illiteracy out. It's only written in the manual.
