Left lights on and battery went dead now I got it jumped no headlights??
Yes Silverfox, some folks do know how to jump start a battery AT the battery itself.
Problems occur when some of the new cars have a remote jump start location like the HHR. People think they know how to do it but in reality don't have a clue.
( not pointing any fingers at the OP....I just mean people in general)
The one's who don't read the instructions just see 2 battery "posts" under the hood and you know what happens next.

I wonder how many HHR owners have never read their Owners Manual on how to properly Jump or use the correct Procedure sequence for removing and replacing the battery cables.
This OP may be about to find out the Consequences.
I think too many are still thinking in the 1950-1970 mode.......
Now days that mode is Proceed With Caution on anything electrical.

2006-2007 have an illiteracy out. It's only written in the manual.
